2011-2013: Adam’s First Reign

2011

The next year, we arrived in force, with dozens in tow and quests galore, marking the beginning of our long and storied campsite tradition.  We chose Roman Bacchanal as our debut weekend.  The godfather of our clan, Matt Roy, had been many times before, and suggested that we camp next to the Celtic Rogues, in what would become our permanent camping location.  We also began our tradition of annual games with Pieces of Fate.  It was this year that we adopted our original name, Sons of Odin, as suggested by Susie Odneal.

2012

This year saw implementation of two important rituals that became central to Heirs of Asgard.  The first was the “Party Planning Party”, a ritual in which we would all get together to plan out what we were going to do for our Faire weekend.  The second was the founding of the “No Asshole Rule” wherein we would ban someone from entering our camp for being, well, an asshole.  As with any good rule, this one came about due to an individual, in this case someone with the unfortunate moniker of “Dickwolf” (and yes, he chose that himself).

2013

This year brought the most important invention of all time, the Alter of Odin.  We began the tradition of having a multi-tap insulated keg system.  This year Peter crafted a large rune encrusted box for keg equipment and named it the Alter of Odin.
